Setting the Scene

Chewton Place is an enchanting Regency mansion set amidst acres of idyllic landscaped riverside gardens. As one of Bristol and Bath's most prestigious venues, Chewton Place provides the perfect backdrop and a true sense of occasion for your special day.

The Ceremony

At Chewton Place you can choose from three elegant rooms that are licensed for Civil Wedding Ceremonies. The Chewton Suite is the largest of the rooms with doors leading out onto a picturesque riverside terrace. The light and airy Drawing Room has French doors opening to the beautiful gardens on two sides. The River Room has elegant period detail and a magnificent bay window overlooking the river. These rooms can accommodate up to 120, 90 and 60 guests for your ceremony respectively.

The Celebrations

With a whole range of spacious rooms to choose from, why confine your celebration to just one room? At Chewton Place all of our superb facilities are exclusively at your disposal for the entire duration of your celebration, giving you the opportunity to create a truly individual day that will be remembered for years to come.

Repose and Repast

Our elegant Bridal Suite provides the perfect romantic retreat to end your special day. Additional accommodation is available in our comfortable bedrooms providing a relaxing home from home for those guests who have travelled from afar, to share in your celebration.
